Dr. Hello Hi was built as a response to the subscription-ification of healthcare. We believe seeing a doctor for a minor issue shouldn't require a monthly commitment.
The Problem
In 2021, we noticed a disturbing trend. Major telehealth platforms were shifting from per-visit models to subscription models. If you had a sinus infection, you couldn't just pay to see a doctor—you had to sign up for a "$15/month membership" with a minimum 6-month commitment, plus the cost of the visit.
This model works great for investors, but terribly for patients who just need acute care once or twice a year.
Our Approach
We operate on three core principles:
- Transparent Pricing: A flat $45 fee per consultation. No subscriptions, no hidden "technology fees."
- Clinical Honesty: If we can't treat you safely via telehealth, we tell you immediately and refund your money. We do not prescribe controlled substances.
- Respect for Time: The average wait time from intake to speaking with a provider is 15 minutes.
